grooming/fur feedback March 31, 2020, 8:10 a.m.
Hi,
I've just picked up houdini to learn specifically some grooming.
I notice in this video on the features page ( https://www.sidefx.com/products/houdini/whats-new-17/ [www.sidefx.com] )
In the video he seems to be able to groom with the actual hairs showing . I'm finding I am having to brush my guides with the hair turned off & tehn turn on after to get the result.
I'm using apprentive V18 , on a well spec'd PC . So am not sure if there are options i can tweak to get faster feedback ?
Thanks

Hi,
I am creating some neon letters in H17 and have drawn out each letter as a seperate curve & then merged these. What I now want to do is have a line node copied to the start and end of each curve, so I can then join these and sweep my circle to create my letters with the turnback . I can select the start and end of a single curve but was hoping there would be a way to select all the curve start and end point with a single node.
Hope that makes sense , any pointers greatly received !
Cheers
