classic shader core errors when connected to surface output March 22, 2017, 12:58 p.m.
Hi all,
Am I missing something here? I connected the classic shader core to the surface_output but it just errors out. The input of the surface_ouput should be Cf but the classic shader core says Ce, what's going on here? I'm rather new to shading in Houdini, I have a xsi/c4d background. Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Quentin

Basically you have to keep tweaking your wire object so it stops freaking out. Long hair is much more difficult to control so you'll spend a good deal of time just tweaking density, spring constrants and damping. Good luck.
Have you come across a good balance of those settings?
