Deskriptiv inspired me very much over the years, with their unique mixture of intricate setups and beautiful design. In this tutorial I want to show you how to rebuild one of their creations “Double Mesh” inside Houdini. “Dual Mesh”, the Houdini variant, is an interwoven sculpture made of a Delaunay mesh and its dual, the Voronoi graph. Using mostly standard SOPs this video is a lesson on creating real world setups in Houdini, quickly. Additional tweaks like variation on the thickness and bulging through the use of noise, etc. can be found in the demo file that you can download below.

This one was fun to do...and so clearly explained. These tutorials help so much to illuminate Houdini and it's many, many nodes.

Superb tutorial. Learning curve for Houdini is steep coming from Cinema 4D but this made it really easy to follow. A lot of things now make sense!

Thank you for this awesome tutorial!
My only hindrance was the fact that in Houdini 17.5.119 I could not create the second "midpoint" group you've made, so instead I just used "!initials" when you referred to midpoints, which selects everything that is not part of initials group. It worked.
