Hi, I'm new to Houdini. I'm having a few issues with the copy sop. I'm trying to copy a single sphere 8 times and have them spaced equally in a circle, but the rotation controls arrange them in a spirel patten. Any ideas would be great.

Hey JT,

You can use a template for things to be copied to. For example, throw down a circle sop set to nurbs or polys and plug that in to the second input of the copy sop (template). Then plug your sphere in to the first input. The sphere will then be copied to each point in the circle.

for a quick test use a

sphere sop (center= 5, 0, 0)
copy sop (rotate= 0, 360/$NCY, 0)

and play with the Nuber of copies
