I want to make a water splash, which like a bullet hit a glass of water.
But, the PBR is very slow with motion blur.
my set
pixel samples is 8X8
Ray antialiasing is min 3, max 9
image size is ,1280X720.
geo time samples just 2.
reflect limit 25.
render speed about 30mins /1 pic. (in Xeon E5200 X2 || 2.3GX4 X2)

I learned the sidefx tutorial, and i am happy with my simulation.
But, when i hit the render button, i am not so happy at all ~
The render speed is slow, and the pic shows much noise in the motion blur aear.

I've download the sidefx tutorial.
The render set is very very high.
pixel samples 42X42
Ray antialiasing 42^2
With these setting in my computer , there is nothing render out after 10 mins.

i increased the Ray tracing bias form 0.01 to 0.1 .
render speed is much faster than before~

A lot of motion blur or dof, not much diffuse rays == MP_PBR. Pixel samples are almost free, so you can get rid of stochastic noise easily. As to integrator noise, play with min ray samples + dicing quality. Moderately increasing its values, should smooth colors.

cheers,
