i want limit number of particles( for example 100)

i set MAX # Of Particles in popnet to 100 but when my particles die , houdini generates again new 100 particles !

i use another method and i set below parameters from source or location node but houdini generates again new 100 particles when they die !

Impulse Activation = 1
Impulse Birth Rate = 100 - $NPART
Const. Activation = 0
Const. Brith Rate = 0

just create a kill node in your popnet and set the rule to $ID > 100.
