Hi everybody,
I'm french, so please excuse my english …

I'm new in houdini, coming from maya and trying to learn dynamics.
Despite lot of research on the web i still can't figure how to make a hole on the ground or floor with RBD.

For example, a ball or cylinder passing trough a floor …as in this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI9O_yDneDE [youtube.com]

I tried many combinations and tests with voronoi without success.
My pre fractured mesh doesn't wait for collision to begin shattering.

Is there a way to detect the collision time in order to make fractures affected by gravity at this time, for example ?

I hope my explainations are understandadble and thank you in advance for showing me a way …

I don't have any file. I'm just trying to reproduce what is on the video.

I have some ideas but does't match very well.

Does somebody knows a nice workflow to achieve this effect ?
