Hi all. Just t see if anyone has a similar problem. in Linux i cant render anything except with openGL. The Mantra node turns red and the error is:

import error no module _md5.

have no idea what this is.

Do you have a camera set up?

Won't render without a camera..oh and theres some settings in the Mantra node for output as well..

I'm just learning this software as well and performing a first render right now..pretty cool..

But I'm finding alot of glitches with version 12 on both 64 bit versions and 32 bit, though the 32 bit seems more stable, it still does some odd things.

Using version 11 right now 64 bit and seems to work better..though it doesn't seem to be forward compatible

though I'm on Win7 here ..maybe Linux is differnt..which version are you using, Unbuntu?

im using fedora 14 64bit
i use h11 on the mac and it renders ok. wireframe and opengl on linux work ok
but mantra doesnt. so i think it has to do with mantra setup. maybe

I've run H11 and H12 on Ubuntu Linux 10.04 and have rendered numerous sequences without any trouble so it may just be your installations is bad
