I do find the current flood of posts regarding usability quite interesting and certainly useful, but I'm pretty certain their place is not in the Technical Discussion forum?

+1. itd be very nice if they had their own separate board. also a finished work board would be nice. i dont think everything is wip.

I completely agree. I started the whole thing because there seemed to be no other place to do so, and mot would be technical issues in nature anyway. But I agree that having a dedicated place to do so would help a lot increase their visibility and help avoid pollution in other parts of the forum. Hopefully, SideFX can give this one a thought.
