Houdini 12.1.125 uses version 2.77 of the Bullet Physics library.

i installed bullet 2.81 includes and libraries.

crap, maybe this is why i must be getting these errors when i try to run houdini with my own compiled sim_solverbullet.

symbol lookup error: /home/username/houdini12.1/dso/SIM_SolverBullet.so: undefined symbol: _ZN14SIM_BulletData27getBulletDataDopDescriptionEv
