Can someone tell me how to use the ‘fracture by name’ option on the rbdfracturedobject dop?

The way I see it, you can either use groups to divide your fractured object, which with a large amount of objects becomes slow, or after spying this little checkbox you can now use an attribute, which after reading the help is an attribute called ‘name’.

So I've created an attribute called ‘name’, which is unique per object via the connectivity sop set to primitive, but dops seems to ignore it. Am I missing something here?

The name attribute should be a string such as “piece0”, “piece1”, etc.

I attached a file showing how I usually set this up.
