I'd like an option to have a user defined font size for sticky notes and network boxes. You can refer to the way it is done in Nuke. Here's a screen shot demonstrating the idea. http://library.creativecow.net/articles/oconnell_pete/from_ae_to_nuke/04_inNote.jpg [library.creativecow.net]

This allows you to write labels in a huge font size that can be seen when you zoom out. This way, its easier to see a large network at once, while still being able to easily identify different parts.

edward, that's a good compromise for now. Thanks!

I agree josh3light. I have never used Nuke, but your screencap was what I was hoping to find an option for. Being able to easily zoom out (zoom scroll sensitivity?) and still recognise stuff… well that's a tactical advantage.

Can you send in feature requests?

On that subject, could we have the notes and especially the network boxes be “immune” to middle-click? Right now they can be dragged around with MMB, which makes node view navigation crazy. Panning around with MMB and accidentally pawing onto a network box (which drags it away from its location) can be quite an annoyance – this is one reason why I don't use network boxes _at all_. (The other reason is network boxes “wondering away” when loading a saved hip file.)

cheers

Please make sure you submit your RFEs. Personally, I always hold down the space bar for complex networks.

I submitted this issue in January (ID# 53045), but it's logged as an RFE. IMO this is a bad design so should be seen as a bug

There is another issue that bothers me just as much, and that is:

ID# 54081: Snippet VOP that shows its code should not prevent panning, zooming inside the network editor.

Man I do submit a lot but they are spot on since they come up alot in these forums 8)
