I just installed Houdini Apprentice 13.0.343 on my Cent6.5 box, and I'm able to launch Houdini the proper way, but as soon as I plunk down a primitive, my keyboard stops working and my mouse is only able to click certain buttons in the UI (both Houdini and KDE windows).

Quitting Houdini has no effect; I have to log out/in to restore functionality.

Has anyone heard of this?
