Anyone tried to customize their interface icons? I found a dir under config called ‘/sample/’ that has many files with .bicon extension. A quick look at the contents reveals its type as BINICON. Are those actual Houdini interface icons, and if so I would guess they are 2-3 bit bitmaps at most, would that be right?

Thanks all.

The “native” Houdini icons are .icon files that used to be used on SGI machines. It's a vector format. The .bicon is the binary version. You can, however, use regular .jpgs for your icons (and pretty much any other image format Houdini supports). For more info on making .icon files have a look here:

Take care,
George.
