Hi there,
I've noticed that ray bias needs to be much smaller than usual (where I consider “usual” to be around 0.005) when applied to a “large scene”. So that a scene that fits in, say, a 1000-unit bounding box will need a ray bias of about 0.00005 – or about 100 times smaller than “usual” (which seems to be “good enough” for scenes of about 10x10x10).
So my question is: what do the ray-bias units represent exactly?… percentage of bbox?… percentage of max-ray-length?… direct camera-space units?… or what?
TIA
