I've been trying to develop a setup to turn objects into ash and I remembered seeing Allan Mckay's great example from God of War - seen here:

I love how the fractured pieces keep breaking down until they're almost nothing. I can't figure out how to achieve this Houdini being a newbie and all. At first I thought maybe just fracture the hell out of the initial geo then try and activate it by groups somehow… dunno.
Any insight would be very cool
