Newbie here !!!

I am trying to access some custom attrs that I had generated on a sphere in houdini.

While exporting this alembic I had also created a attr prefix of the same name as my attr.

However I am not able to access the custom attr while the alembic is in delayed mode . But I can access this when I unpack the alembic.
Is there something wrong in the way I am exporting the geo or do I have to unpack the alembic in order to access the custom attr
