Houdini Geometry Export to Maya

Hello, I have zero experience with Houdini but need to move some geometry from Houdini files over to the maya work space which I am familiar with. Is this possible? I don't need the materials or animation data (although that would be great). Any help is greatly appreciated. I did not see anything from the search, and apologize if I missed it.

Have you tried to right-click-save-as-OBJ approach in the SOP ? Might not fully answer your question but at least you have *.obj as a starting point.

Hey Nicholas, thanks for the tip. If I can export OBJ that would be perfect.

I haven't even opened Houdini but I'll give it a try once my company has got the licenced Houdini going.

Use alembic rather than obj, much better performance and file size.
