bullet destruction with mid-flight object

Im trying to destroy an object mid-air in houdini. it must act as if thrown sideways by someone, so fly arch and rotation is necessary. I tried using motion paths to direct the object but as soon as gravity is involved it overrides my motion path, even tried keyframing the gravity on/off but no progress so far.

fixed it, there's this little thing called velocity in the geo node inside my dop network that I absolutely missed during 3 days, way easier than what I was trying to do.
