Just curious, testing a lot of fur features.

The recache strokes on the curve groom sop seems to severely distort the groom after caching. Is this to be expected or is this a bug (that should be submitted)?

I need to cache strokes as file sizes start to balloon without it. First tested it on 7k strokes and then 1k, the result is still distorted curves. I thought it might be an issue of the vdb not being high enough resolution but nope.


Also I bought up that i cannot use a hotkey to select strokes to groom. Backtick key doesnt work because this isnt a standard selection operation, it is a “Scripted Select” and in the hotkey editor i cannot assign a key to it.
