Copy Objects to dop sim

I am sure the solution is pretty straight forward but I keep running into an issue where I did a simple grain sim via the rbd grain shelf tool and now extracted the points via dopimport (Create Points to represent Objects) to place custom geo onto the points.
When using copy to points and having “Transform using Point Orientation” checked, all my copies are placed onto the same exact point at the center of the scene and fly off into every direction during the following frames. When having “Transform using Point Orientation” unchecked my geo is copied directly onto the points and follow the simulation but I get no rotation.

If somebody could point me to what I am doing wrong that would be great.

Hi
No need to use another dop import node. Set display on your original dop import node to centroid. Then do an object merge into your replace node and use those points to copy onto.

Thanks a bunch. I kinda see my mistake now regarding the packed geo. But it seems now the copied objects are not really lining up with the points. They follow the animation but seem to have an offset in their position.
