Heightmap rendering with 'Bake Texture' in 16

Hey guys,

still quite new to Houdini, so bear with me.

I am trying to bake a heightmap of geometry with the ‘Bake Texture’ node.

I manage to get normalmaps, diffuse, occlusion, etc, but heightmap somehow always comes out black. I tried increasing Ray Bias but with no luck. any leads? Thank you!
