Hair simulation velocity field?

Hello,
is it possible to attach a hair simulation to a custom velocity field? Like the POP Advect by volumes?

easier to ask if you can plug a velocity field to wiresimulation.
i guess that you only need to bring a fields and plug it into the advected data.

thanks for your answer. Where would you plug it in? I solved it now with fieldforce.
