Hi!

First time Houdini user here- trying to have puffs of smoke explode along a curve at an offset time, so it looks like the puffs are progressively exploding toward the end of the curve.

First, I created a simulation and saved a vdb cache, and then I created a foreach block and a metadata node, then imported the iterations variable in the frame parameter of the time shift node and tried to use the iteration number to offset time specific to each indexed puff.

For some reason, it won't offset the each individual volume primitive*. Tried the same thing with the angle parameter of a transform node and it did exactly what I wanted.

Definitely stumped- any suggestions / tutorials I should watch?

* P.S. I might have described something wrong- still trying to learn the jargon.
