I have been learning fluids and this is my first sim.
My problem is how to fix a noisy surface when the fluid should be settling?

Here is an example of my sim, you can see the edges of the fluid peaking up when it should be settling as well the fluid has a noisy energy.

How do you stop this happening?
I did a sim at real-world scale and it was even noisier.

Thanks Ralph

I can't remember the exact settings but have you tried adjusting the Voxel Scale, Influence Scale and Droplet Scale in the Particle Fluid Surface node?

Try bumping up the Voxel Scale to 0.9 if you use the default 0.75 (if I'm not mistaken).

Worst case scenario which will change the overall appearance of the fluid especially when it pours, play around with both Influence Scale and Droplet Scale (remember to keep Droplet Scale to be smaller than Influence Scale!)

Cheers Huey Yeng.

I did play around with the settings. I wondered if Surface Tension might be causing this issue.
I will play a bit more.
