Retime SOP for Smoke

Ive got a simple billowing smoke sim which Im loading in as a bgeo.sc with density and velocity, and I want to use the Retime SOP to slow it down into a smooth slo-mo. Ive tried setting speed to 0.2, with my initial frames set between 20 and 100.
In the Retime SOP Ive tested all the blend modes, but am yet to find a usable result. The Advect mode seems to just loop between a few frames, whilst voxel position is ok but still quite jagged in motion.
What would be the best method here, am I missing anything?
Thanks for the input

Cheers

Hi! Do you also have the interpolation set as cubic?

Hi Jose, thanks. No it has been set to linear, so I will try cubic. Which blend mode do you suggest for what I want to achieve (Tranform, Grid, Voxel or Advect)? With Advect, do you normally enable Scale Velocities and Interpolate Velocity Field check boxes?

Thanks

Hey!

The proper way is with advected, about the parameters, for me works great with it set as cubic and advected and just that but check if activating those helps your simulation.

Good luck!
