Hi all, first post here. I am in need of some help on learning the new height field tools.
I am trying to recreate an image that has been doing the rounds on the nets recently.
http://www.esa.int/spaceinimages/Images/2018/12/Perspective_view_of_Korolev_crater [www.esa.int]
They provide a high resolution tif of a topography map: http://www.esa.int/spaceinimages/Images/2018/12/Topography_of_Korolev_crater [www.esa.int]
But their scale confuses me. Do I need to manually ramp the height parameter based on their bizarre scale or am I interpreting this type of data completely wrong?!
I have used luminance based topography maps before, but I have never encountered this type before.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
