Merging geometry node running out of process

Hi
So the Merge Geometry option on the Geometry Import node is great when you have one single frame of caches that you want to merge into one geometry stream, but its not great when you have a file sequences of wedges that needs to be merged into a one file seq.
Can we make the Geometry Import node to run out of process so it can be batched?

The ROP Geometry should be able to handle out of process merging, and has built-in support for batching. It's possible to build a SOP chain inside of the ROP geometry, but disabling the “Use External SOP” parameter and diving into the SOP net contained within the ROP Geometry. If you have a complex file sequence you can probably use a File Merge SOP to achieve what you're looking for.
