To make you annoyed: maybe this thing makes Mantra so slow, where can I switch it off?

I hope this 80s thingy has the same karma as Mantra…
… and now I see this is actually Redshift. The static icon of the actual render node would be useful.

I think they can replace this with some useful information like “Showing render output path”, “Render size” and so on …

That icon is part of Houdini's cultural heritage. It was in Prisms in the 90s and made it into Houdini 1.0 and it's still there! You can't mess with it! They are like the ravens at the Tower of London. If they fly away the crown will fall.
