Hi,

Good morning, everyone,
I'd like to align the yellow object in the direction of the wall normal. Is there an appropriate node to do that?

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

You can do this using the Align VOP or by using the dihedral VEX function:

Use the ; hotkey to Align objects to other objects.
You can use ' hotkey to temporarily move the pivot of the object to anywhere before using the Align function.

Hi ! Thank you so much both for these great tips ! I didn't know any of them

In my case, the solution was to define proper normals (tangential) for the curve's river and let the copy_to_point do its magic.

Have a good day,
