Hi there,
Does anyone know if there is a way to select an RBD object in the 3D viewer while in DOPS mode? If there is a way it isn't obvious to me. I've got 20+ RBD's and trying to figure out which one is which is a bit hard having to switch between the display mode from object <-> dops.
Thanks.

In a different geometry view (viewer pane) you can use an object merge, then a spare parameter on the merge (switchme). On the object merge you can use something like this
/obj/dopnet1:rbdobject`ch(“../object_merge1/switchme”)`/Geometry
Then use the spare parameter to switch objects … there might be a much better way though thats just a guess.

There's another way and whether it's better or not is subjective.
Type ‘d’ in the viewport to open display options and in the bottom row of buttons, there are two red ones to the right. Click on the second from the right button & you'll get DOP object names in the viewport. It might be a bit hard to see but it does its job.
Hope the above helps!
Cheers!
