The Render Settings parameter on the USD Render ROP is a USD primitive path, not a Houdini node path. Pick "/Render/rendersettings1" from that parameter's drop down menu to pick a valid render settings primitive. That said, the Render Settings parameter is not being flagged as a USD primitive path, so it gives node-name auto-completion, which is certainly confusing and should be fixed.
