setting values from a USD

I have a USD.
I load it and the scene is present and I can see all the nodes including teh camera.
When I right click on the camera in the Scene Graph Tree and choose Edit primitive> New node to edit primitive it creates the edit camera node (yippie)

when i go to that node, I can't find a way to set the parameters based on the incoming USD information.
I an see the transform in the Scene Graph Details - they are correct and would be expected, yet when i go to the camera node and try to extract those transform I can't see it.

the Initialize parameters option isn't doing anything for me when I pick - Set all parameters from USD primitive...

thoughts?
