USD from Maya to Solaris questions.

Good afternoon. I'm having a hell of a time with two small issues in my workflow for bringing in a USD asset that was animated in Maya.

My animator has created some IK animations that I am exporting as USD. They come into solaris okay as a sublayer, however they are scaled incorrectly. I added a transform and changed the scale, plus I wanted to move them into position where I need them. However when I move them the pivot point and the movement and my object diverge the more I move it. Is there a way to reset that origin for an imported USD?

My second trouble. I can't seem to re-apply my shaders to the parts of the model. I have access to each named item, but they seem have lost their UV coords in the transition over. So if I apply my shader, it is wrong. I'm assuming the UVs are still there, because as imported the shaders work fine, I just can't change them.
