Yo!
I know this is probably a very basic question but i cant seem to find the proper definition or term to describe this operation.
I would like to "flatten" or align points along a surface so that the faces are flat.

As you can see, some of the top points are not aligned to the rest and would like to flatten them.
I know that in other programs like maya or zbrush you can scale them to 0 but im not sure how to do this inside of Houdini.

Thanks in advance!

Alex

'Flatten' is probably the correct term since the node that does this is actually named 'Flatten'

More code, less clicks.

That works in Houdini too. Use orientation picking mode to snap the pivot to one of the points that is already where you want to flatten to, then scale to 0 in the desired axis.

Assuming you want these points to be flat, you could set them with a wrangle.
Something like @P.y = <y-value of desired point to match> should work.
