I install daily versions. And I see that the default colors I assigned for the nodes work in the old version, but disappear in the new one. And so every time. All other settings and menus remain. This means that this color file is not stored in the settings folder in documents. But does anyone know where?

Dear SideFx! But it’s very strange that you did so much work to set the color and shape of the nodes, but with each build you destroy all the user settings and make it unusable.

I assume you've reported this through the official channels? https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/25347/ [www.sidefx.com]
This seems like it should be an easy bug to fix

Of course I reported this. But they don't consider it a mistake. That is, we need to stop this coloring and not get angry at every assembly. Color, shapes, drawn knots on the shelf. Everything disappears. But why then did they work and create these methods? I definitely don't understand something.....

I think it would make sense between 19.5 and 20.0 but it shouldn't matter between 20.0.XYZ versions. Perhaps you didn't explain this clearly enough in your bug report? I'd try again and make sure you include as much information as possible, including full steps to reproduce from a stock installation.

Did SideFX support really say "we don't consider the node colors and shapes disappearing a mistake"? Press (X) to doubt.

As a side note, does anyone know where these colors and shapes settings are stored?

Ahahaha, of course not. It’s just that when they mark it as a bug, they report it as a bug. When they don’t want to admit and fix the bug, then the classic thing begins - “reboot the router”, “reinstall Houdini, check the settings” and all that.

It means that they couldn't reproduce.
