Houdini 18 released in November 2019, 19 in October 21 and 20 in november 23, so every 2 years.

I refresh sidefx page everyday since October 😂😂😂

Did I miss something, or we still have absolutely no idea when 21 will be released ? (I don’t known why but I feel something big, maybe I will be able to let go cycles and use karma 😇😇😇)

Am I missing something? 2 years from November 2023 is November 2025, so why have you been refreshing pages since October 2024?

Can we just not act like Apple fanboys on iPhone announcements?

I personally hope SideFX to take their time and make something stable.

I imagine Chris McSpurren's finger inching towards the 'terminate' button already...

I wish I could use Karma 2.0, and regular quad-remesher.

SideFX is starting the teasers for Houdini 21 at the upcoming conferences also, so maybe it's going to land this summer. Or SideFX will tell us this summer when it's going to drop.

The SideFX folks have a habit of waiting until they're actually close to ready to release before they say they're close to ready to release, which is a habit more companies should have.


I'm hoping for some cool demos at SIGGRAPH even if it's not released by then because SIGGRAPH this year is in my neighborhood!
