Houdini Foundations 19.5 Wine Glass RBD Tutorial issues

Hi, I have just completed the Wine Glass RBD Impact tutorial in 20.5, and have got a few bugs I can't figure out.

1) There are some small stationary spheres rendering from the glass object (see attached render). I think they are small geometry pieces from the boolean shatter node, which are then no participating in the RBD sim. However they seem to render as much larger spheres than the tiny geometry they come from. How do I delete these / stop them happening?

2) The wine has no motion blur (this in Solaris using Karma XPU, with USD imports). As far as I can tell the wine mesh surface has velocity attributes on its points. The rigid body glass pieces do show motion blur. I tried setting the object velocity blur and instance velocity blur both to 'Velocity Blur' in the Karma Render Settings, which does then show motion blur for the wine... but introduces a weird overall motion blur (seemingly in all directions) to the glass before it shatters.
