Karma / Solaris User experience

Hi there,

sorry if this sounds negative or if I dont understand how this is supposed to work. But working with Karma can be super frustrating when working in materialX networks. Simple tasks as combining ramps (horizontal/ vertical/ radial/ etc ) become very complicated every time. Sometimes i have the feeling that we had more artistic freedom in the mental ray times (i know, it also was very painful).
After switching from mental ray to arnold and then to redshift always felt like a step towards more artist friendly workflows. Dont get me wrong i love karma XPU but i wish there were more tools inside matx context to make shading fun and artist friendly again. copernicus is a very nice bridge to this but honestly i would prefer to stay in matX context for basic texture operations.
