Is it possible to load multiple background images into the 3d viewer? I am doing some modeling and would like to load front, profile and top reference images into their respective viewports. I can set one reference image through the display options that is inherited by ALL views, but can't seem to set it per view.

just untick the ‘apply operation to all split views’ checkbox and load your images for each viewport

Is it possible to rotate and move the images?

I just find a scale opportunity.

You can't rotate or translate the images but you can do that in COPs. Read the image into COPs, do what you need then load the image from COPs instead of from disk.
