hello and thanx for this forum..
well, as an absolute noob to this appl, I stuck in an animation process where I need to set the transformation values to zero as default after transforming the object. So, how would it be possible to FREEZE TRANSFORMATION like in maya??
thanx

On the parameters pane just above the transform matix is a drop down list that says “Pre-transform” click on that and select “Clean transform” that will move all the current values into the pre-transform matrix and let you start animating off a clean set.
The trick is finding just the right hammer for every screw

Another way would be to append a Transform SOP at the end of your SOP network, copy all the transformations from object level to the Transform SOP and then reset the transforms at the object level.
I was expecting this feature to be included as an automated shelf script in 9.5 but for some reason it wasn't.

it's important to note that this is what Maya does when you ‘freeze transform’ - it jams the transforms into the pre-transform
