Hello,
Im trying to do a basic shader. Something that makes banded specular highlights.
example: (specular in pink)
I just need to disregard the position of the light, and only account for the direction right ? (or use a direcctional light, which i dont want)
How do I get the values for the light angle in the surface? Is there some specific node to get like “light shining from light X outputs angle Y” (a node with all the outputs of the light).
Sorry, Im a newbie, and cant find adequate houdini shader tutorials
