Hi,
I am very new to houdini and I am trying to scatter a few things on a grid based on some predefined parameters.

I have used a scatter sop to spread out the points. I want to choose all those points that are closer than a particular distance and delete them. Is there any way to do this?

I did a little setup, I hope it can help…
I use a sort sop after the scatter to reorder point number based on distance from a point. I referenced a null to this point coordinates so it can be animated. Next, I put a delete sop to delete every point that is numbered beyond a arbitrary number. I created a slider to make this easy to animate…

Press play when you open the scene you'll see a bit what it can do. Right now it keep the point beyond a certain radius around the null, put it good easily do the oposite and delete all the point that are close to it…

Is this what you anted to achieve?
