Hello friends
After long time im back on Houdini,And i stuck with one problem.
I recently purchased hp pavilion dv6 which is having windows vista, whenever i run Houdini on it
Houdini stops working within few min.
Is there any preferences setting to avoided this problem

The hp dv6 uses an Intel HD4500 video accelerator, which does not meet Houdini's minimum specification for graphics. You can try to work around this by using software OpenGL instead, by entering the following environment variable into Vista's environment variables dialog (Control Panel, System and Maintenance, System, Advanced System Settings, Environment Variables):

Variable name: HOUDINI_OGL_SOFTWARE
Variable value: 1
