Hi all,

Is it possible for houdini to display a particular object in wireframe mode while other objects are in shade mode ?

Thanks

It is possible but with a little bit of trickery. The attached file uses the Ends Sop to accomplish this.

It's actually quite weird - you should be able to press “d” over the 3d viewport, and on the “guides and markers” tab select how you want the normal, selected, templated, etc. geometry displayed - I've just tried setting different options for other than “normal geometry” categories, and it doesn't seem to work at all (10..323 Ubuntu x64)! A bug?

Works fine for me Greg, but only at Sop space level. To do the same at Object level you need something like Grahams solution.
“gravity is not a force, it is a boundary layer”
“everything is coincident”
“Love; the state of suspended anticipation.”
