Hi Everyone;
I am trying to embed text (or is inset a better term for it?) into a box or any similar geometry. I'm wondering if anyone has some methods they could share?

I'm also interested in any other interesting ideas for working with shaping text geometry.

Embed text in a box / insert. Could you post a scene file or picture of what you are trying to do

Here's one I just tried. It never worked out this well before. The resample node is suggested from an old post, it doesn't seem to make a difference with it on or off.

Still interested in better ways to achieve this.

What's wrong with the idea of using the cookie sop? It works. You don't need the refine sop, it just adds an useless amount of extra points. Also just use the A - B option, that way your normals inside the box are correct.

If you want the letters to go all the way through you can use the hole sop. See attached file.
