how do i use a deforming object as cloth

hi….ive got this object that im deforming using blend shapes….and i want it to be a cloth object …just turning it into cloth means houdini will ignore the blendshape animation…..how can i have houdini make a cloth object that has blend shape animation?

I suppose that you want to have a secondary animation for your object. I would like to show you another way (a simple and fast). You can look my file.

thanx….ur way is very good…..however is there a way to make cloth use defirming objects…..the help says using cloth with a sop solver will achieve this…..but i just dont know where the sop solver shud be plugged in….anyway ur workaround is nice…..thank you
