the Pink color IS lovely, but I wonder if another image might better serve to indicate to people that ‘something went wrong’.
… Like the mandril, or Chuck Norris perhaps …

Hi Guys.
I'm suupernew to Houdini, and so far I think it´s amazing (coming from Maya/3Ds MAX/RealFlow/Nuke etc).
I was wondering how you would go about to get a initial velocity to an fluid created from an object in volume fluids?
Also, is there a way to control where the fluid starts on an object? I know in Maya I would mask it with an ramp to tell it where to start?
