Hi, I have update. I am not sure what the steps are to submit this correctly. Sorry if the has been covered before.
1. place deadlinescheduler inside topnet and pointed/referenced on the outside.
2. inside topnet, deadlinescheduler press “submit graph as job”
3. only one job named “PDG TOP_Deadline_scheduler” submitted but crashes
Attached hip file + screen shots
Thanks

I am doing a hi res flip simulation with objects floating in fluid. Lets say bits of strawberry on the surface of yogurt. I would like to have more control over the floating strawberry than using the feedback scale method and do two simulations.
I looking into the “POP Float by Volumes” dynamics node……. but I have no idea where this node should be placed. There are no example file for this kind of setup.
Any help with be much appreciated
Thanks

Technical Discussion » Flip inherit velocity from emitting object H16.5 vs H17 workflow?
- R0B

Hi
I have a animated character emitting flip. I cant get motion inheritance from the character to influence flips velocity using the new sourcing workflow Houdini 17. In Houdini 16.5 this works just by adding a trail sop before the “create_surface_volume”.
How can I set set this up in H17?
I have attached both files 16 and 17 any help with this will be much appreciated.
Thanks!
