Hi !
How do you do that on linux ?
I tried to make a 456.py file in script folder with this content, as founded in another forum but it didn't work:
import hou
hou.appendSessionModuleSource('''hou.hscript(“autosave on”)''')
Any clue ?
Thanks.

Hi,
I don't know a lot about VEX and expression but I'd love to implement a procedural overshoot animation over a simple 2 keyframes animation.
I found this after effects way of doing it but nothing applied to Houdini.
http://www.vdodna.com/blog/overshoot-the-missing-animation-principle/ [www.vdodna.com] (see third method)
How would this translate to VEX?
Could anyone give me a hand on that ?
Thanks in advance !

Hi guys !
Coming from 3DSmax, Vray and FumeFX, I'm tryng to move over Houdini.
For my first i got a rendering problem : I'm trying to color a smoke simulation with colored lights but the viewport preview's colors look ways better than my actual mantra render …
It let you see the attached print screen.
I guess it's just some parameters i don't know about.
Does someone know why is there so huge difference between the viewport and the actual render ?
If i could have the same in the render than in the viewport, I would be a happy man !
Thanks for any suggestion !
